The hotel is located in a lovely area with well-kept grounds, offering a range of facilities like a gym, sauna, and restaurant/bar. The rooms have a cozy feel but could benefit from some updates. The dining experience was enjoyable, though not up to high-end standards. Overall, a nice place for a relaxing stay with some room for improvement.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were very cold and miserable, so bad that we checked out early on our second night and moved to a Travel Lodge. However, the staff were incredibly helpful. The property looks like it's well-overdue for an update, but at least we received great assistance.

The rooms were very cold and didn't warm up. It seems like they need an update.
Service

The hotel was set in lovely grounds within easy reach of local towns. It will look lovely in Spring/Summer despite some tired areas outside the property.
Dining
5.0
The dining was standard hotel fare and very poor value for money. However, they did go 'off menu' to expand the food range, which was a plus.
Facilities

Staying at the hotel was a real treat with its luxurious Bridal suite room. The bathroom was huge with a double shower, his and hers basins, and a roll-top bath. However, the basic king rooms lacked some amenities, and a step into the room caught me off guard since there was no sign. The price was a bit on the higher side but justified by the spacious and well-equipped rooms.

Rooms

The Bridal suite room was a real treat with a huge bathroom and luxurious amenities.
Service
7.0
The staff was pleasant, polite, and helpful during my one-night stay. However, they did not offer to show me to the cottage, which would've been a nice touch.
Location
7.0
The hotel's outside seating areas were appreciated, but not being able to access the gardens was a downside. It was perfect for visiting nearby attractions like National Trust properties and the Roald Dahl museum.
Dining
6.0
The breakfast was average, but the lack of hygienic measures like providing tongs for bread was disappointing. On the bright side, they offered homemade organic products, giving a unique touch to the dining experience.
Facilities
6.0
Although the facilities were adequate, the noisy fans above the bar affected the overall ambiance. It would have been nicer to have a more peaceful dining environment.

The hotel is situated in a delightful setting with beautiful grounds to walk around. The rooms, although a bit cramped, are comfortable, but the radiators needed adjustment upon arrival. The staff was welcoming and efficient, ensuring a lovely stay. The location may be slightly remote, but it offers a peaceful and restful atmosphere. The dining experience was decent, with traditional Greek dishes, although the food was somewhat tepid at times.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms varied in size and quality, with a beautiful wedding breakfast but some issues like older curtains needing attention. The service was friendly but the hotel interior felt worn out. The location was great with some areas needing improvement. The dining experience was good but slightly overpriced. Overall, a decent stay with room for improvement.

Rooms

The rooms had a mix of sizes and conditions. The older wing had a larger room with a balcony and sitting area, while the newer wing had smaller, more basic rooms.

The facilities had some issues like worn-out interiors but overall met basic needs.
